Some more thoughts...

The walk was a real challenge, heavy rain en strong wind made it very difficult.
But we did it!

Unforgettable, mount Snowdon in Wales.

It’s a real mountain, it sure is! - Jan

De bergwandeling bleek een grote uitdaging te zijn, regen en zware storm maakte het niet makkelijk.

Maar we hebben het geflikt!

Onvergetelijk, de berg Snowdon in Wales
Het is een echte berg, dat is zeker!

Thoughts from the Portuguese

There are no words to express my gratitude to Barry and Glyn. Thanks for that beautiful and typical British weather whilst climbing. For the next time I’d like to order snow, please!
Waiting for Arriva Euro Stars Team (British, Dutch, Romanians, and others who want to join us) next year in Portugal!
Who vote for us?!
Many thanks all

Remark only for Portuguese (if you want to know what I wrote bellow you need to translate it. Take the challenge):
Houve 3 marmanjos (2 portugueses e 1 holandês), que apesar da chuva, apanharam uma seca do caraças lá em cima à espera dos outros, que entretanto se piraram pró quentinho do hotel.

The first to share their thoughts!

I like challenges so Snowdon was a real one!!! As "outsider" i want to thank everyone for giving me the good feeling being a member of the Arriva group. Up for the next challenge ! - Leo

A tremendously awesome experience with fantastic people! I would love to attend next years event for sure! - Farid

Since last Sunday howling winds and pouring rain has a whole new meaning to me! I can do anything that I want, because I survived (nearly) the Snowdon :P
The way we where taking care off by Glyn en Barry will always be in my memory as very warm and humorous, and will bring back a smile on my face whenever I think of our weekend in Liverpool! Thank you both so much! - Lydia

And a glimpse of just how wet and windy it was...some of the ones that made it to the top (I don't care what anyone says, Mark is there!!! :)):

This is us!

Meaning all of us, those that participated in the Snowdon challenge 2012! A great mix of British, Dutch, Portuguese and at least one Romanian :P

If it looks as if we seem to be a bit tired and well...wet, it's not your imagination! We have faced a terrible weather but wemade it to the top! For the whole day it rained continuously and the wind was sometimes even faster than 55mph. No way is this ideal for going up the mountain but one thing is sure...when you face such a challenge, you realise how much strength you actually have in you! :)

More impressions from the walkers and some very wet pictures of us will soon follow! Stay tuned! :)
